The difference between the Moe's in Glastonbury and the Moe's in Worcester where we are today was..
Understandable that the people who work behind the counter are severely underpaid, but they go out of their way to be lazy. They do not properly communicate with the customers as all order are essentially custom made.
They love to give you very little meat and even less "free" chips.
1)no HOT salsa and 2)attitude of people. I mentioned there was no hot salsa and the guy in charge started saying he had no help today, too many people asking for things...he was VERY RUDE. I was in the food service industry for many years, and customers don't care if u short handed.
If you like broken cold tortilla chips, filthy tables and floors, then this is your type of restaurant. My burrito was good and the salsa was good but I was disgusted with how filthy the place was. Every table in the place was dirty, there was trash left behind on tables and floor, the fountain soda machine must have been leaking because there were puddles of water everywhere, also lots of flies.
It was the way he spoke to me...not professional at all. I still like thier food so I'll continue to patronize the one near me in Glastonbury, where the people..so far..have been very courteous every single time.
I went here for lunch when chipotle was extremely busy and I was pretty disappointed. The lettuce looked not so fresh and I’m wondering how fresh everything else was because they do not wilt like lettuce does. I ordered a burrito bowl and it was not very flavorful what so ever. I did get salsa and tomatoes and guacamole on it, so it’s not like it was plain. But the taste wasn’t there. When I asked for a tortilla on the side the manager wanted to charge me for it but wasn’t sure how much to charge so they let me have it “this time.” How much would you charge for a tortilla? I would say no more than $.25 or I could go to the store and buy it myself. I’m pretty sad I wasted $10 on a flavorless burrito bowl... I’ve heard great things about Moe’s but this location needs help.
I doubt I would ever revisit this location due solely to the employees and their treatment of the individual customers.
The staff with the exception of 1 woman had to be the rudest group ive encountered to date i took the behavior to mean they don't want me to go there again sooo.....message recieved no welcome to moes in shrewsbury
