Lost my package somehow and didn't seem to really care. After I saw my package was bouncing back and forth between this office and one in NH (I live in PA) I decided to call. Spoke to someone on Monday and she told me she would look into it and call me back Tuesday (never did). Called again on Tuesday and was told that the person in charge of missing packages wasn't responding to her email and I should call back tomorrow. Wednesday I called after seeing the package was now in NJ. They said they would try to contact someone at that packing facility and no one answered. I still am without my package and it was ordered 19 days ago.... The post office has now given up on helping me and now I am fighting voice prompts on there 1-800 number with a 50 minute wait.
A very important piece of mail got sent to my old address. I called the number and I got an immediate answer. A lady name Flo was very helpful, and attentive to understanding my issue. Later that afternoon, someone call Charlie called me, said that he went to my old address and got me the mail. Waited for me after closing hours and so that I can get their to receive the mail from him. I am very grateful for their work, and for them to go beyond what their job required. I will remember this as one of my good experiences the Shrewsbury community.
