A gem in Shrewsbury. Drawbacks...walking or running along roadways within the park can be difficult because of 2-way traffic. A leisurely stroll with a friend requires single file walking. Very picturesque!
My husband and I visited because mil always loved it. Won't go back. Did was ok, menu too big. My chicken was undercooked and husband had fish too much breading and over cooked. I also had a salad. My feeling was that salad was a left over from the night before.
Love the lake while you walk, sometimes in fall it's like a still mirror of the lovely surrounding trees. "As above, so below!"
Love the park, two sizes of structures to cover all ages. Wonderful place to walk. Having a public restroom is great for little kids!
Tennis courts, play area for kids, nice place to hike/ walk. Small lake there with musical fountain in the summer months.
