I want to give these guys 5 stars because of the people that work here. But if I'm honest I have to say that at times they run out of stock (cooked Lentil beans come to mind) more often than other trader joes. Also the fruit and veggies could be fresher, because at times I bring them home, and they're soft in a day or two. Again though most of the employees are very helpful and friendly making what would be a 3 star a 4 star.
Small grocery store is always well stocked with quality items. A bit pricey, but the trade off is better variety and higher quality items than the supermarket. The meats are always fresh and high quality. Employees are always helpful and nice. Fresh flowers, plants and produce greet you at the door. The only negative is that the parking lot can be a zoo in the evening, but otherwise we really enjoy shopping here.
This was my very first visit to Trader Joes. The store was VERY busy. The produce all looked fresh and had great prices. The meat (although they had sold out of what I wanted) was very fresh, most was organic or grass fed and GREAT prices. I asked for assistance at least 3 times (my first visit) and each person was nicer than the next. They do have minimal supply of each item which I am sure is to keep up the quality of the products. I really liked that. .. fresh is important to me when I shop. I had mentioned that this was my first visit (Mike, one employee that I spoke with) told me to mention it when I went to the register and I would get a free reusable bag (which I did do/received ). I really liked it and will certainly visit at least monthly moving forward. I live a few towns away, so it will not be my everyday store. I would say Wegmans quality and some prices where better. If you are into organic and healthy living you will get the best bang for your buck at Trader Joe's.
Nice alternative to the supermarket.
Small space but great products. I enjoy buying some of my staples here because they are slightly cheaper than our neighborhood Wally. They also have some great selections in cheese, baked goods, and soup! We often get the pre cooked turkey breast for a quick turkey dinner. Just good stuff at reasonable prices on most items. Great produce also!
Smaller than many other grocery stores, Trader Joe's is worth the trip. Quirky and a little off beat the layout of their stores takes a bit to navigate, but that it part of the fun. Their produce is fresher than most and often less expensive than the popular big box grocers. I have found several of Trader Joe's store brands are better quality and more flavorful than national brands, especially their Bootstrap molasses (I'll only bake beans and gingerbread using their molasses), their dark chocolate (2nd to none), candied ginger and spices.
